Biography:
Punk-tinged dance-pop group Dead Disco formed in Leeds, England, while the members were attending art school during the summer of 2005. With a limited number of live dates under their belts, the band -- Victoria Hesketh (vocals, synthesizer), Lucy Catherwood (guitar), and Marie France (bass) -- contributed a track to a compilation released by Leeds label Dance to the Radio. The band`s first single, The Treatment, was issued on Manchester label High Voltage in April 2006. Dead Disco (which had yet to include a permanent drummer) followed that up with another single, Automatic, which was the last single to be issued on illustrious London label Fierce Panda.
