Soundbwoy Entertainment's upcoming artist Young Nate
has the attention of UK R&B fans with his new EP. The
choice of title, A Piece of Me', may hint at a stingy
approach to sharing his talents, but don't be fooled
Nate's more than generous when sharing his smooth and
silky vocals
This talented 18 year-old is also capable of crafting
stories that his audience can relate to. Subject-wise
he speaks mostly about love and relationships. Whether
fighting back butterflies on I Wonder' or pursuing
love (and dispensing with waste men') on Set U
3ree', Nate's melodies, harmonies and flows help to
paint a convincing picture. The project also boasts
some vibrant beats. Soundbwoy's quality control in the
production department is more than evident. Building
on the summer smash Mixed Messages', he broadens
Nate's appeal with a wide selection of music from his
production team
Young Nate gets up close and personal with Hem of his
Garments', an accapella song that takes us back to his
roots in the church. His raw performance pays suitable
homage to the Sam Cooke original. In fact, this gospel
song lets us hear the emotion, soul and the genuine
